Things Here, for You.

Presentation Software Comparison Chart

Here is a chart that compares most of the presentation software currently available. (2006 September) We chose features that we thought were important. You may disagree. But that's okay. If you are curious what sorts of fancy things these programs can do for you, take a Look!

Test Images for your Projector

We created a few images that we find helpful for setting up and/or testing projectors and other video displays. There are few ways to get it.

  1. A web version that has explanations, thumbnails, and links to the big images.
  2. A zipped file that contains all of the above in a easy-to-transport format. (140k)
  3. A zipped file with just the images. (116k)
  4. A zipped PowerPoint (120k) or OpenOffice (124k) slideshow with just the images.

It is helpful to display these images full-screen. The software I use to do that;

I am sure there are plenty of other programs that can display the images full screen - these just happen to be the ones I like and use.

Miscellaneous Tidbits

We have a bunch of spreadsheets and helpful documents. They are stuff we developed for us to use to make our job easier. The plan is to someday have them all documented and explained here on the website. Since that hasn't happend yet, but they may still be useful, they are all dumped together in a folder where you can get to them.

Most of them have fairly good internal documentation. But for the most part, your on your own! We hope you find some of them to be useful.
